Ted and Chris loved the size and style of home they currently owned. There were only two problems: the school district and the decline of the neighbourhood. They could not imagine raising their kids in their current neighbourhood. So, for Ted and Chris, it was time to start looking at homes in the better areas of Toronto. One day, while out for a drive, they spotted a house that was listed by Michelle Walker. In the end, it not only secured a new home for Chris and Ted but it also impressed the listing agent.
But buying a home was only half of the story. It was now time to sell Chris and Ted’s existing home.
To say Chris and Ted are very busy people is an understatement, and when they are not working they would rather spend their time sailing. Preparing their home for sale was not high on their to-do list. Michelle and her team took charge booking painters, updating light fixtures, getting floors sanded and getting the house ready for sale.
“I remember just handing Michelle the keys, and saying, ‘Please make this happen,’” remarked Ted. “It was amazing what Michelle and her team were able to accomplish in such a short time.”
And in the end, the transformation paid off. Chris and Ted quickly sold their old home and at a price above asking. A bonus to an already successful sale.
